Hisent® Limited Manufacturer Warranty
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Last Updated: August 1, 2026
This Limited Manufacturer Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by JPGG LIMITED, doing business as Hisent® (“Hisent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Warranty applies to new Hisent electric bicycles purchased from hisentbike.com or a retailer expressly authorized by Hisent. It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use during the applicable warranty period. This Warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
1. Eligibility and Warranty Start Date
Coverage begins on the date the e-bike is delivered to the original purchaser. A claim requires valid proof of purchase, the order number or authorized retailer receipt, the product serial number when available, and information reasonably necessary to assess the claimed defect.
Complimentary promotional items and free accessories are not covered unless otherwise stated in writing.
Products purchased from unauthorized resellers, liquidation channels, private sellers, or marketplaces not approved by Hisent are not covered by this Warranty. This does not affect rights the purchaser may have against the seller.
2. Original Purchaser Only; No Transfer
This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser identified on the valid proof of purchase.
Warranty coverage is non-transferable. If the e-bike is sold, gifted, assigned, or otherwise transferred to another person, the subsequent owner is not eligible for Hisent’s official manufacturer warranty, including any remaining warranty period.
This restriction does not limit any non-waivable rights the subsequent owner may have under applicable law or against the seller.
3. Returns and Refunds
Returns, cancellations, exchanges, and refunds are governed by the Hisent Return & Refund Policy. This Warranty does not create a separate return or refund period. Where applicable law provides greater rights, those rights remain unaffected.
4. Warranty Coverage by Component
| Component | Period | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Lithium battery pack | 12 months | Repair or replacement for a verified manufacturing defect, including capacity below 80% of the factory-rated value under the published Hisent test procedure. |
| Rear hub motor, motor controller, frame, front suspension fork, complete handlebar assembly, and original OEM charger | 6 months | Repair or replacement of the verified defective covered component. |
| LCD display, throttle, headlight, and rear brake light | 3 months | Repair or replacement for a verified manufacturing defect. |
| Tires and inner tubes | 30 days | Replacement only for a verified manufacturing defect present at delivery. Punctures and normal road wear are excluded. |
| Brake pads, brake discs, chain, bearings, grips, bell, and plastic lock shell | 30 days | Replacement only for a verified manufacturing defect. Normal wear is excluded. |
The period is measured from the original delivery date. A repaired or replacement product or component remains covered for the balance of the original warranty period and does not restart or extend that period unless required by law.
5. Available Remedies
If Hisent confirms a covered manufacturing defect, Hisent may provide troubleshooting, supply a replacement component, repair the defective component, replace the e-bike with the same model, or provide a functionally equivalent replacement if the original model is unavailable.
Replacement products or components may be new or professionally refurbished where permitted by law. Cash refunds are not provided under this Warranty unless required by law or provided under the Return & Refund Policy.
6. What Is Not Covered
This Warranty does not cover damage, failure, or accelerated wear to the extent caused by:
- A crash, collision, drop, impact, stunt riding, racing, abuse, or misuse.
- Use beyond the weight, passenger, terrain, speed, or operating limits for the specific model.
- Commercial, rental, fleet, delivery, or cargo use unless approved by Hisent in writing.
- Incorrect assembly, maintenance, storage, charging, or repair contrary to the user manual.
- Flooding, submersion, prolonged moisture, fire, lightning, corrosive substances, sand, or other external causes.
- An incompatible or unapproved charger, battery, controller, accessory, or replacement part.
- Unauthorized controller, speed, wiring, battery, motor, or structural frame modifications.
- Drilling, welding, cutting, or another structural alteration.
- Failure to perform maintenance specifically required by the applicable user manual.
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage that does not affect safe operation.
- Theft, loss, vandalism, or accidental damage.
- A removed, altered, or unreadable serial number where eligibility cannot reasonably be verified.
An alteration, third-party part, repair, or maintenance issue excludes coverage only when it caused or materially contributed to the claimed failure. Unrelated covered manufacturing defects remain eligible for review.
7. Battery-Specific Conditions
Battery coverage does not apply to damage or abnormal degradation caused by an incompatible charger, failure to follow charging or storage instructions, puncture, impact, liquid intrusion, fire, external heat, broken seals, unauthorized opening, internal modification, or use with an incompatible product.
Battery capacity testing may be performed by either the customer or Hisent using the same published Hisent procedure. The record must identify the battery, test conditions, measuring method, and complete result. Photos, video, diagnostic logs, or meter readings may be used as evidence. If results differ materially, Hisent may request a repeat test or return inspection.
Battery safety: Stop using and charging a battery immediately if it is swollen, leaking, unusually hot, physically damaged, or emitting an unusual odor. Contact support@hisentbike.com for instructions.
8. Frame-Specific Conditions
Frame coverage applies to verified manufacturing defects. It excludes corrosion, paint fading, cosmetic scratches, impact marks, crash deformation, chain guard damage, overloading, or structural modification. The maximum load is determined by the specification for the customer’s specific model.
9. Shipping and Labor Costs
For returns within 15 calendar days after delivery, shipping charges, processing fees, and refund deductions are governed by the Return & Refund Policy.
For an approved warranty claim submitted more than 15 calendar days after delivery:
- Hisent will provide the approved replacement component without charge.
- The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with receiving the replacement component.
- If the defective component must be returned for inspection, the customer is responsible for the applicable return shipping cost.
- Hisent will disclose the shipping method and estimated charge before shipment or return authorization.
- Third-party diagnostic, installation, and labor fees are the customer’s responsibility unless approved by Hisent in writing before the work is performed.
Do not ship an e-bike, lithium battery, or component without written return authorization and shipping instructions from Hisent.
10. How to Make a Warranty Claim
Email support@hisentbike.com with your contact information, order number or retailer receipt, model and serial number, description of the issue, date the issue began, and reasonably available evidence.
Hisent may provide troubleshooting steps or request further information. Photos or video are helpful but are not the sole required proof when a defect cannot reasonably be shown visually. Do not disassemble a battery, motor, controller, or structural component without written instructions from Hisent.
11. Transit Damage
Report visible shipping damage or missing components as soon as possible, preferably within 7 calendar days after delivery. Include photos of the carton, shipping label, packaging, damaged or missing area, and complete e-bike when reasonably possible.
A delayed report does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived, but prompt reporting helps verify the carrier claim. Minor cosmetic damage to complimentary promotional accessories is not covered unless it affects safe or intended use.
12. Claim Review and Service
Hisent will review a complete claim within a reasonable period and may request troubleshooting or inspection. After confirming coverage, Hisent will provide the remedy and shipping instructions in writing. Timing depends on diagnosis, component availability, carrier conditions, and customer location.
13. Payment Disputes
A payment dispute or chargeback does not automatically cancel warranty coverage. If a payment dispute and a warranty, return, replacement, or refund request concern the same transaction, Hisent may pause duplicate financial remedies while the payment provider resolves the dispute. This does not limit non-waivable consumer rights or reasonable safety support.
14. Limitation of Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this Warranty is the express limited manufacturer warranty provided by Hisent for the covered product.
Limitations and exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or certain damages. Nothing in this Warranty excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
